M1 - my child was in India earlier on a tourist visa and they informed me that we can’t apply for an OCI while inside the country on a tourist visa. It needs to be an X-1 visa. Was told it’s possible to convert tourist to X-1 but needs visit to FRRO and at least a month of processing
