Applying for Senior I
-Big 4 $90K plus bonus
-A top 10 firm $95k plus bonus

The HR from the top 10 firm said they have more WLB than big 4. But I think Big 4 has more opportunities than smaller firms. Which one should I choose? Thank you guys.

Firm's recruiter told me to be ready with my salary number for interview. Interview was several rounds on the same day with multiple attorneys from the office. Never got asked about salary. Is that normal? Little worried as firm recuriter explicitly said to have that number ready as I'd be asked.

For anyone who receives a quarterly bonus or raise in some form, does your employer start to schedule you for less hours when your raise kicks in, or pull you from a future schedule entirely once you receive a bonus; only to put you back on once the hours you would have worked and earned the amount given are passed? Ie; a part time employee getting $200.00 in a quarterly bonus and then not being scheduled a whole week during a bi-weekly pay period where they would have earned more on the clock…?

My base location is in Gurgaon but my nearest office is in Kolkata and currently I am at my home. Can I get it replaced from Kolkata office? And what is the general time frame for replacement. Can I visit after an week or so?

How does below compare with regional comp for big4? Considering the salary progression and 1/2-bed flats in London being ~£400-500k I can’t see how it’s feasible to ever own a place until SM grades by which point most will be in early/mid-30s...

Wanting to move to TAS. Would enter as a potential senior. Curious timeline from Senior to Manger. Looks to me that you can move up much faster at a Mid Tier firm gaining quick experience. Is that accurate?
