I currently started at a ad agency but solely do reporting and QAing data, I am worried for my growth as a data analyst since I don’t get to apply my skills in my role. I’m entry level and scared about my future. I talked to my manager to see what projects I will be onboarded for but was told we barely have time for projects because of all the reporting issues we go through EVERY DAMN week and takes most of our time. Any data analysts here who can help guide me.

Interviewing advice requested.

Lately, in interviews, more questions are framed “How would you do X in this role?” With how questions, I’m laying out the process I would use and why. Interviewers seem to get frustrated when I answer this way.

Should I be sticking to STAR and how I’ve done it in the past, regardless of how they’re framing it now?

I also gave responses to teaming and collaboration that are focused on relationship building, trust, and reciprocity that are no go’s. What’s wrong?
