While he is overall a decent guy, his anger issues, yelling at his wife for the slightest issue, and insulting nature makes me uncomfortable and triggers my own anger due to his blatant disrespect for just about everyone around him.

Does anyone else feel like their S/O is becoming more like a roommate? We’re in our early thirties and have lived together now for three years. Bf will be back for my actual bday, and we’re taking a domestic trip next weekend. That said, I still feel a little miffed that we’re not spending this weekend together like normal. Last year I moved to a new city to be with my girlfriend after she took a new job in that city. One year later I realized this was the unhappiest year of my adult life. I don’t know if it’s because of my relationship or because I’m in a new city with less friends/social life. 27M

Our 5 month old started daycare about 5 weeks ago. We’ve already had to keep her home for 2.5 of those 5 weeks due to catching various illnesses (croup, rsv, brinchiolitis, etc). Both my wife and I have been sick most of that time as well (gotten it from the baby). Wife is thinking we get a full time nanny for the next 4 months to help the baby build antibodies. Cost aside, is this feasible / worthwhile to go thru the effort / finding the right fit, only for 4 months?
