JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

These are some of the questions and my answers. Anything standing out as a cause for getting denied unemployment benefits?
Correct
I thought that employers will be contacted to validate reason for unemployment and if it’s not valid (e.g. termination), you’ll have to pay back any benefits. It’s because employers have to pay different tax premiums for unemployment so it’s in their interest to contest invalid claims.
You will get benefits if you a) did not quit on your own accord and b) were not fired for misconduct/cause.
