Coming from ACN, senior analyst, 3yrs total experience so far & wanting to get into the data analytics/BI work. Currently have had experience working with SQL developer, OBIEE/OBIA, Teradata in ERP and Healthcare projects. I also have my AWS Cloud Practitioner Cert, hoping to eventually get the Data Analytics Cert later. What are my chances of finding a role with another company that'll let me work in BI/data analytics and build up my skill at the same time? Been thinking of leaving ACN.

Anyone work with someone really stubborn. How do you deal with it?

Anyone combine ADHD meds with Nootropics? I do a lot of work in the startup/VC community and it seems everyone in that world is obsessed with nootropics. They have private message boards, meetups, etc., just to discuss the topic. I know at least a half dozen companies that have very active Slack channels on the topic where everyone from the CEO on down debates various cocktails, programs, brands.

Am I missing something? Last I read the research was VERY inconclusive.

ADHD advice and suggestions for consistent high-performance on an important 60-80 hour work week project?… Medikinet (concerta) helps with focus but makes you feel bit more tired/lazy, so would you add a bit of modafinil? Anyone mixed these two?

Newly diagnosed & medicated and new to consulting.
I’m great with clients but getting bad evaluations because I’m slow to produce work and don’t take time to communicate status.
I’m trying really hard but I keep getting stuck in perfection loops and scared to share things before they’re perfect.

Did you struggle with this & find a way to improve? I’m terrified I’m going to get counseled out, but I love this job so much.

Does anyone suspect a bit of an adderall abuse issue in our industry. Some of these people are a liiiiitle bit strung out a lot. So much fast talking, no eating. Or is it just coffee? What’s up?

Anyone had sexual performance issues on generic adderal (dextroamphetamine) that made a switch to something else and didn’t have those issues? I only take my meds 2-3 times a week to avoid the lethargy, but by that second or third time in a week I have issues.

Any recommendations for support groups that have an active online community?

Did I act irrationally here? I had an initial consultation with a therapist the other day to get a referral to a psychiatrist for BD + ADHD. I've called them to get the appointment set up but no response. So today, I found a new provider and was able to get an appointment booked directly with a psychiatrist next Wednesday.... Do I just tell the other provider I'm no longer interested?

Actions are probably bc of ADHD....🙃

Does anyone else just have one day a week (Saturday for me) where they are just a full zombie and have to decompress and sleep from all of the burn out?

Hello- new to the group. I was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and felt like I had everything pretty under control until recently. I have been feeling so uninspired it’s hard for me to stay focused even with my meds. I can’t tell if it’s burnout or something else. My confidence has plummeted and feel like I have no passions anymore. Any advice would be more than welcomed!

How did you get your SO to better understand ADHD? We’re getting married and he’s very patient and understands with me. Just wondering if there is a resource to help him understand that this is an executive function disorder and my brain is wired differently.

Was on adderall throughout college, but didn’t like how my body responded to it. After joining the workforce full-time, I think I need to start medication again. Any softer meds that work for you?
