A friend worked there. She would agree they are dope.

Haven’t worked there, but worked with them on a few projects and they’re my favorite media agency

Same here. Best media agency I’ve worked with. They are real creative partners, and good humans.

Do they do/compete on brand strategy?

They dope

S1 and SS1: why do you like working with them? Can you share a bit on your role/experience and why they dope? Context: I’m in house media and my biggest fear is most of their work is project based. Just interested...thank you!!

hey all, i’m 3 years into my career. some decent work produced, some awards (mostly student). after getting laid off last fall and many many applications and emails sent, I’ve decided to spend time and money on a creative PR stunt to get my dream agencies’ attention. I’ve decided I don’t want to settle any longer, and I’m ready to make the jump to the elite. so people that have made it to their dream agencies: when did it happen for you, what made it happen, and was it everything you hoped for?

I have offers with Bain (Sr mgr) and BCG (PL2), and will be focusing on their PE practices. I know Bain is the leader in PE work, but having trouble deciding which offer to go for. Biggest factors for me to consider is career progression (in consulting), culture, optionality in the types of deals/projects. My conflict right now is I had better interactions with BCG interviewers and initially leaned that way, but the infrastructure & market presence of Bain in this space is strong. Thoughts?

Currently on a project that has nothing to do with me. I understand developing a new skill set but I have no past experience that aligns with the scope and deliverables of the project. I've spoken with the PM and they say I'm still the best fit. I think it's just due to the firm being understaffed. Time to talk to my direct to get off that project? Thoughts?

I know it's early to even mention this, but has anyone starting preparing lessons for the fall? I want to create a remote learning webquest (how to use remote learning tools) so that students are prepared for anything.

After 12+ years in FTE roles both agency and brand side in strategy/brand marketing/social strat roles. Thinking about taking it freelance. But I’ve never done freelance or consulting before - ever. Would love to connect with someone who’s done this (or does it on the side) - would anyone be open to do a Zoom call with me to answer questions/give me advice? As a token of my appreciation, I’d send you a Drizly (or Seamless, DoorDash, or UberEats) gift card so we could make it a happy hour!

I've gotten to a point with my client where they are super comfortable with me. We don't shake hands anymore, but dap each other up. Same with my senior client account lead. Guess this is a good thing

KPMG folks - do you guys expense dry cleaning for the week? Is it standard to do so? A few of my coworkers expense theirs but I've been hesitant to do the same.

I am completing Noogler period this month. I joined in January with 3-4 years of experience and Google offered me L3 Level and despite having other offers in hand, Google didn’t negotiate. And since Google was my dream company, I joined Google thinking I’ll ask for promotion in one year and do the hardwork. Till now I wasn’t having any problem. But now it starts mentally for me. So, I referred one of my friend from my same batch of college and previous organisation. contd. in comments!

My husband and I have concert tickets to a big outdoor festival that was cancelled for covid and is now happening in late August. His brothers and some college friends are flying in to stay with us. We just found out we're pregnant and I'll be 9 weeks by concert time. We aren't ready to tell anyone but we can't think how we can ask them to cancel without explaining. We are all vaccinated and are in SF so cases are low, but not zero. Any advice?
