Nice office. Partnership heavy.
Lots of workaholics. Technically, I've heard good things, but i don't work with them too often.
My impression is that they're much heavier in partnerships (2 partners and one MD with fully staffed team all the way down) and states. The two biggest tax clients in Dallas are both partnerships. From the outside, that group has a reputation of being very close knit.
SALT is respectably sized top to bottom (whereas Houston has all managers plus a director and no one else). Used to have a MD and partner, but that partner moved back to his original state. Now, it's just the MD. ITS is small and hasn't quite recovered from when a partner left about 5 or 6 years ago. They have a team, but Houston is much deeper there.
Office as a whole is about 400 strong (all 3 service lines). They're in a fairly nice building on an upper floor. Only thing is...., not a fan of their restroom. The doors.... are fanned!? I haven't been back in a while, but the doors were awful.
