Recently moved in-house and struggling with how to document my contributions (keep a “brag list” if you will) for purposes of review season and eventual bonus/promotion/raise discussions. At a firm it was fairly easy to point to high billables, high profile deals, praise from particular partners or clients. Now I’m struggling because my work is so….day to day. Mostly negotiating typical sales contracts. Very few opportunities for visibility or high profile contributions if that makes sense.

I've asked a few questions for my sister, passing another one along.
Is there defined promotion criteria from LA to SA? Or does it depend on admin chain, org, and/or politics?
She is looking at LA positions now as a potential comeback kid, and while she was at BAH 10+ years ago, she's forgotten the details, though they'd likely be severely outdated even if she remembered.
TIA!

As much as I love the Atlas, it’s not a “true” jumping hour GMT. You may or may not care. Honestly if you don’t travel across time zones often an ETA 2893 based GMT with quickset date is easier to live with.
Thanks. Don’t see that as a huge issue I would likely be using the GMT hand to track a second time zone for relatives or if I travel.
I’m most impressed by the dimensions - 47mm lug to lug and only about 10mm thick, which I think adds to the versatility

+1 for the Monta. It’s pretty classic but has an eye catching dial with the contrasting GMT hand. The Farers both look more on the trendy/fashion end of the spectrum. The second looks like a wannabe Speedy, and I would get tired of that accent color on the second hand. If you like the looks of the first Farer, Ch Ward does (or used to do) a similar one that looked nicer in my eyes.
I have 2 Farmers that I love. I have the Bernina Chrono Sport and the Maze GMT. The Bernina is probably my most worn after my Grand Seiko and I honestly get more compliments on it than any watch (the red strap I have it on does attract more eyes really lol)
I’m actually thinking about selling the Maze soon though. It’s beautiful but it just doesn’t get enough wrist time for me and I’d love to put that money towards something else

Microbrand guy here:
Haven’t owned either, but both have great quality reputations. Lots of them for sale secondhand if you want to save a bit of money.
With micros, generally the more expensive they are the harder the resale is. They’ll move a little slower and you can probably save 25-30% off a new watch if you buy used.
Monta is especially known for their bracelets. They have a glidelock clasp that is essentially a copy of the Rolex style and it’s supposed to be excellent. It’s owned by the same people who make the Everest straps, so they know how to do that well.
Thanks for the insight! Have heard good things about the Monta build quality for sure, that is probably the one I’m leaning towards most out of these three but also looking at some non micro brands as well
