Does anyone know if the same 401k rules apply at EY as Accenture so they will cap the contributions coming for your check say if you hit the yearly limits in August? So if you hit the 22,500 in 23 there is no way to go over for tax issues. Thinking to frontload next year contributions if market is down. EY

Don’t know a ton about Pyxis but have heard good things.
My current case team may try to leverage them for a piece of work. The way these types of teams (e.g., Pyxis, FWRD, advanced analytics group, and others) work at Bain is that they are internal services typically hired by a case team for a specific project. Level of integration may vary depending on the specific ask.
I don’t know about Pyxis, but I have seen FWRD, AAG, and Adapt (another internal service) get pretty integrated to the point that they’re treated similar to a “normal” member of the case team. These roles can be client facing. That said, it will likely differ from case
to case depending on the specific workstream.
Also, should probably mention that they’re viewed highly by the rest of the org and general consulting staff. Definitely integrated into office culture and social events if that’s important to you.
Thanks, this is all super helpful context! Out of curiosity, do you think there’s any mobility between Pyxis and the general consulting practices? Let’s say I transition to this role and 3-5 years from now I’m missing consulting, would I have a reasonable shot at making that move?
Not really no. Definitely not a path that's meant to happen. It would look like outside experienced hiring.
