A job I’m applying for asks for non-ad writing samples. I have a personal blog that has *cough, cough* personal stories. Dare I share that? I like the writing but it’s a little NSFW.
Senior consultant with 7 YoE. Have led multiple projects, been on projects as an assistant product manager (Agile environment and all). Skill set has been mostly SQL, python, tableau. And different ecosystems like snowflake, ssis, aws, mssql, data bricks etc. Trying to move out of consulting , unsure of the kind of roles to target at FAANG and honestly it’s been 7 years since I interviewed so kinda feel very under confident. Anyone in a similar boat?

Hi fishes, I have applied for BA position in multiple companies but most of the calls I get say that they are looking for immediate joining (or 1 month). My company has 3mo notice period. Should i resign first and then give interviews or wait for offer letter before resigning? This 3mo notice period is really a problem. Thanks in advance
Background checks don’t show a current employer if it was never included on your resume or reported by you correct? Recently starting a job I did not communicate during interviews with another firm (just went off my prior job)
Hey all! Any guidance on leaving my firm after being placed on an upcoming project? I got an industry offer that I’d love to take, but I just got word that a new client would like me for a project after several weeks of interviewing with them. The project is scheduled to start in about 4-6 weeks, so I havent started anything, but I can imagine the conversations would be tricky, given the amount of effort invested already from both sides. Anyone gone through a similar thing?
Friend of mine was coaching me on an upcoming Amazon interview. “They’ll be looking for any reason not to hire you.” I’m frankly not sure I’d want to work somewhere that thinks like that.

Anyone ever have a recruiter call them from a blocked number? I had a recruiter reach out on LinkedIn and I wanted to set up time to talk about the position. They said they would set up a call for this week, but then I got a call from a different recruiter who works at the same company but the number was blocked. She said she would set up time with the hiring manager for an interview and send me an email with her contact information but never did. I have questions but not sure how to reach out
Need some vacation advice. I’m at an all-inclusive that was billed as “luxury”, but food and service are mediocre, the resort is run down, and we’ve had mult instances with other guests making drunken scenes. My wife and I have been doing the all-inclusive route for a while now and I think we’ve come to the conclusion that we need to just go to an expensive, pay as you go resort to get the food, service, and higher caliber of guests. Suggestions on such a place? Carribean preferred. Thanks.
I’m trying to collect compensation data at the senior consultant level (1-3 YOE). For those willing, could you please reply with your firm and base salary? Senior consultants with 1-3 YOE only please, thank you!
I have an interview for a position at Slalom coming up for Slalom Emerge and was wondering what I should be expecting. I had a pretty good chat with the recruiter and I'm happily employed as is, but I'm always happy to test the waters. Any insights into the job, interview, negotiations process, working environment, culture, travel, etc.? It would be in the integration area. Thanks!
Hi all, has anyone in supply chain taken one of the certification exams? (CPSM, CPSD, CSCP) Does it help in any way besides refreshing contents about supply chain? I was thinking might be a good way to strengthen my resume (most of my career in investment analysis) but not really sure if it really brings that much value. Any insights appreciated. #supplychain #cpsm #cpsd #cscp #education #certifications
