From talking to students at multiple M7 schools, it seems like all of the BB/MBB/FAANG companies recruit at most if not all of the schools . So if you're planning on recruiting for one of these, is there really a major difference in career opportunities between each school? Asking because it seems like some schools are specifically known for finance vs consulting vs tech, but if the companies are all recruiting at all these schools, the differences don't seem as pronounced to me.

I just had drinks with two of my college friends who been at mbb for 3 years… Feedback was that they were lost on what to do next because they had good general skills + brand, but never went too deep on anything. Is that a real problem or do I need better friends?
About to start the interview process. I need to practice my maths before going through the online screens. Does anyone have any feedback what the MBB screens look like and what are some online resources I can use to practice doing the math problems?
Creating a company and going the self funded route. Is it silly for me to cut tax advantage account contributions (e.g., 401k) to gain cash on hand? - even if I lose firm contributions.
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
Does anyone know the pay range for a senior architect role at Slalom in the Atlanta area?
McK fish - What's the comp range for Associate/Sr Associate in Supply Chain, coming in as experienced hire? Considering Seattle office if that matters
Anyone take SHRM? How many hours did you study?
I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?
Is there an comparison between big 4 titles ?

Hi fishies 🐠 I’m an Art Director that’s trying to transition over to UX Design. I have experience building websites and some previous freelance work doing some UI/UX. What’s the best route to transition over and would I need to apply for entry level roles? Does an AD role with a UI/UX focus even exist? I enjoy the thinking of UX design and am comfortable designing interfaces but I’m mostly unsure of the process of working with an UX team. Would love to hear your thoughts!
