Anybody here double fist their luxury watch on one hand, smart watch (in my case, a Garmin running watch) on the other? Is it in bad taste or acceptable? I feel like my creative team is secretly criticizing me for asking them to build decks (their job) and make executive and client revisions (also their job). It’s making me feel like a bad producer, but I’m also wondering why aren’t they in a more cooperative or positive mood when we meet to talk about work?
This is the only project we are all on and I don’t understand why they make me feel like I’m asking for too much.

I feel like I don't fit in with the upper middle class culture of accounting sometimes. I come from a lower middle class family, and it's hard to relate to the things my coworkers talk about - fancy houses, fancy cars, new gadgets that they are getting. I never grew up with those things, so I'm a little lost or it just don't seem that important to me. Perhaps I'm being judgemental, but I don't mean to be, it seems like we just have different priorities. Can anyone relate or have advise?

My manager says to serve the full notice period or be labelled absconded. I asked the HR whether I will be labelled as absconded if I agree to buyout the shortfall but they're not replying.
