Am I under shooting on comp expectations? I’ve been at my company, a large diversified asset manager for a bit over 4 years (1.5 as an associate). I make ~$200k ($150k salary + $50k bonus), which I was told is the top end of market comp for my role. However, I recently saw a posting for an associate level (3-5 years exp) corp strategy role (similar duties) at a PE firm with a comp range of 250-400k. Does this seem crazy high or am I seriously undershooting on my expectations?

Hi - looking for some advice. Have a final round case study for a Corp Dev role. Basically I was told the nature of the case study would be to provide an investment recommendation by putting together “simple financials and a powerpoint slide.” If you were in this situation, how would you

I need your help guys. I'm a Real Estate Financier in London for new development projects and have just been offered a new role with another company. The base increase is £20k however the bonus structure is c.£60k higher if I achieve targets less than at my current company.

I'd have to work in the office 5 days a week though and at present I don't need to at all.

Flip side is I have been offered a directorship at my current bank and I am 30. New wage TBC.

Recent grad who started at a boutique focused on MM tech m&a in the Bay Area. Is there anything else I should keep in mind when preparing to lateral besides staying active on deals/getting a good performance review and networking/prepping for interviews? It’s not that I want to leave my firm right away, it’s just that I know I don’t want to stay in the area for more than a couple of years and know that lateraling is an inevitability for me.
