In your opinion, what's better for a resume, VP of Marketing or VP of Sales Enablement?

(I'm in the startup world, so I do everything from marketing to lead gen, proposal building, sales strategizing, provide feedback on product design, functionality, strategy, etc.)

Fishes, looking for recommendations on growing business development and sales skills. Finding and growing pipelines, establishing marketing materials, closing sales, and similar for services. I have on the job experience within consulting but never any formal training or education. Entering a new role where I'll need to build organizational capabilities from scratch. Any recommendations on programs, certificates, courses, books, or other similar ideas would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

Has anyone had any success from moving from an EB specialist role to an Human Resource role without starting at an entry level position? If so, how did you do it?

Offered a promotion where I countered for a higher rate and remote work. The firm reported that my counter offer was going to take weeks to discuss, but I wasn’t “asking for an arm”. Two weeks later they approved the initial offer without consent and against my written request to hold off until negotiations concluded. Now, I’m told that my actions have fractured the relationship
