Anybody in PwC recruiting? Do you know how one can apply for internship in PwC?

Really...who hired OP

Why do you need this if already working for the firm?

Just tell him to get in contact with a campus recruiter. It should be easy if PwC recruits on his campus. If they don't recruit at his college, then he's likely out of luck. Internships are from target colleges only. If the firm doesn't recruit at yor school they won't give you consideration.

like

You won't get compensation for referring an intern but if someone who's already in the firm refers the intern to campus recruiting there's a better chance they'd be considered

Yes, I help in recruiting often. You looking for tax, audit, or advisory. We are conducting interviews on college campuses now.

Just talk to one of the PwC campus recruiters and they will take it from there

I was hired as an experienced staff and an international hire so don't really know how the process works for local students. Where Can I find contact info of campus recruiters?

For somebody who asked me how he can start an internship with the firm

Talk to your HR contact. They will be able to provide contact info of campus recruiters in your market. Then you can pass the resume of person to the campus recruiter if PwC doesn't recruit from their school. The rest is up to the recruiter

Unfortunately they do not recruit on his campus.

S1 that's not true. I got referred by someone and got an offer for associate and they don't recruit at my college.

That's not a big deal. After you share the resume, the recruiter will make the decision as to bring him in for an interview or not

Thanks to everyone, will check with HR

If you work for the firm and refer them to a campus recruiter, they are more likely to consider him.. so I would find a campus recruiter (or ask around if someone already knows one personally) and send that specific person the kids resume and tell him or her about the person and why you think they'd be a good fit. Or if you have a partner you know that's willing to help, a partner sending a resume would be even better.

I'm not sure they take employee referrals for interns. Everything I've heard is that if you're not at a target school you're not being considered.

Can't hurt to ask the recruiter though.

Hi everyone! I’m switching internally to my company’s LA office (from Boston). I only need to be in the office 1 or 2x per week and am toying around with the idea of living in San Diego and commuting up that one day. It’s likely be a 2.5hr drive or so each way, which seems like a lot. Can anyone speak to whether or not I’d go insane with that setup or if there are ways to make it more tolerable? I just have more family / friends in SD and would prefer to live there if possible :) thank you!!

I know people say to not chase money but I’ve been in the industry for about 5 years (all in NYC at big old agencies) and I’ve never made anything of note. A senior position recently came up at another large agency that I don’t think will lead to great work… but it comes with a pay raise from 85 to 140. I’m in my late 30s and I’m tired of feeling like I’m not getting ahead financially. But sometimes I feel like a failure for not making a lot of cool work like my classmates from ad school.

Got an offer from a T2 at 1 level before the Post-MBA level. Current firm offered to match base comp with guaranteed promo to Post-MBA level. Benefits of staying would be the established network and higher rank but T2 has higher comp progression. T2 post-MBA comp would be ~50% higher in 1.5 to 2 years. Should I take the promo or leave to chase the higher potential compensation? Intend to leave consulting in 3 years. Career levels are BA > SBA > Assoc (post-MBA level) > Manager
