FAANG Exit to MBB? 3.5 YOE, Non-technical, 150k TC Been at Alphabet my entire career post-undergrad. Undergrad was a pretty general liberal arts degree and haven’t pursued grad school yet. What would it look like (from a TC + long term career standpoint) to switch over to consulting for a year or two then go back to my non-tech tech lifestyle?

I have 3 year experience working at Deloitte Consulting and want to move on to a Sales role and Career. I currently make $110K, is this feasible comp to make starting out in Sales?. How can I learn about comp in your industry? Besides the comp question, are there any resources/forums/books online that anyone can recommend that’ll get me a good understand of what to expect out of a sales role, different sales roles, how to succeed, build career, etc. Im starting from 0 Thank you!

Question for the Fishbowl community, what is easier to exit into industry from with a mid level manager role? A function specific consulting role (supply chain, operations, finance, etc.) or a more strategic consulting role? Does your answer change if the strategy role is vertical specific?
