Stick to Big 4 and you will appreciate my advice. L&T Infotech is good for those who have grown organically within the firm (read L&T). Typical desi culture. They are trying to change their image by recruiting leaders from reputed firms but the fact remains that they are a desi firm and will work you hard without any benefits. Stay away. Stick to Big 4.

L&T vacation policy sucks.. paternity (if you are male) benefit not there... culture isn’t great.. you have to work round the clock (late night and weekend) offshore phone calls... Raises aren’t great (if you complain about b4) compared to big4 raises

I had a friend who worked at l and t and his medical benefits and 401 were amazing. Decently paid as well - I don’t think l and t falls in the same bracket as tcs or infosys

The biggest drawback is if you can not find a project in a month they will ask to leave/move to India.

I have been offered the role of Business Associate in KPMG with 5.8LPA fixed, could you please let me know the salary range for Business Associate? Non tech, YOE in related field 2

Did well in first and second interview. Third interview was behavioral questions which I had a gut feeling I didn’t do well on. Niche consultant position. Was executive in last role. Have sent enthusiastic thank you emails to all three. Would sending a more in-depth addendum email to 2nd and 3rd interviewers to better answer missed questions be over eager?

Flying out of ORD mostly. Is United the better option? Delta seems to have pretty decent options too. No more American.

I had an amniocentesis today unexpectedly. We were referred to the MFM after our anatomy scan last week but OB didn’t give us any heads up as to what to expect so we were hit with a lot. The only thing we know for sure is that she will most likely have clubbed feet - everything else we just have to wait 10-14 days until results come back. NIPT all negative for everything though. Still processing and trying not to Google too much. Please send a quick good thought / prayer our way if you can 💕

Hello. I’m currently working in management consulting at a Big 4 and considering switching to cloud outside of my firm. I have no cloud experience, so starting from scratch. Considering starting with AWS practitioner certification, then Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, plus getting some practical experience by being staffed on cloud projects at my firm. What job and compensation can I expect in the market after this? Any other skills you would recommend to be more competitive? ty
