I’m currently sitting in two seats at my company, a small org with 8 employees. I’m head of operations and head of marketing, making $56k. I am really ready to be done. That said, I’m hoping to land a marketing director role, remote, for a nonprofit, NGO, or mission-driven company (something in the green sector would be ideal). My question is: does anyone have experience finding nonprofit jobs to apply to? LinkedIn is where I’m looking but I have to sift through so many postings.

I am in San Jose with AOS (Eb1C) filed in May 2021. Receipt number starts with MSC. Completed biometrics in Oct 2021 and have received EAD and AP in November 2021. I140 approved in Mar 2022. Since then I haven’t received anything and have been waiting for my medical RFE. Do you guys think realistically I have a chance to get GC in this USCIS Fiscal year? Are other people in San Jose facing similar wait times? It’s been 15 months already since AOS filing.

Never have I had to worry this much about going to the grocery store. The reaction of society here towards these issues is also dismal. Is it worth it?
