Challenge is much greater if not at a top 15 school. What program?
I did this. S&O moves much faster and higher emphasis on presentation quality vs technical quality, also expect longer hours overall but I found more interesting work. Most important thing is building a network, which requires more political maneuvering than tech since your tech skills won't be as important as soft skills. lots of other posts in this, but aligning services & p&ls to client issues. Not much announced yet but the thinking is to break down barriers between strategy, ops and tech since clients frankly don't care as long as their issues get solved.
