If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

A) biweekly does not give you four per month (wtf)
B) just save half? Not sure why you need mental gymnastics to do so
Oh guess I'm a dumbass and missed the whole point of the post
Your recent comment makes sense, but the original post was super confusing. I generally try to save 25% of my net pay per month. I think if you word it as a %/month, you'd get more feedback
I did that when I got paid biweekly.. I set my budget up on two pay checks a month and just considered the other two "extra" paychecks each year as 80% savings/20% fun money. Pretend it's a bonus :)
Don't you only get two per month? Where did the two "extra" come from? I'm so confused
It depends on how your firm does payroll. If it's biweekly, it's every 2 weeks (duh). There's 52 weeks in a year, so that's 26 checks. Hence the two "extra." If you get paid bimonthly then it's simply twice a month (usually on the 1st and 15th for example) and that's that. Didn't think this topic would be so confusing to people.
^There we go :)
If biweekly means getting paid once every two weeks, does bimonthly not mean getting paid once every two months? I think the term for getting paid twice a month is semimonthly?
Tried. Didn't work for me. Highly recommend though.
Biweekly gives you two months w/3 paychecks
Aren't most public accounting paid bi-monthly? 2 per month every month
I stand corrected.
