Based on your experiences, what are 1 or 2 traits that a company/ leadership has that allows diversity to be celebrated & encouraged. How does this affect employees (Black/non-Black) in & out of work?
What are the gender ratios at other companies? I’m currently the only woman on a dev team of 21 software engineers... yikes that’s <5%
I love this (queer-positive comic creators really bring so much joy to the world) ☺️ The same goes for gender!
How do you use children’s literature to support meaningful conversations about diversity in second grade? I’m not just talking about “holidays around the world” or a really great read-aloud by itself.

Anyone used Sneak Peek to find out gender early?
Thanks for making this bowl all gender inclusive. The other bowl simply was outdated and lacked any kind of diversity whatsoever at all.
The ad industry is legendarily homogenous. Won’t unionizing simply close ranks & protect existing white professionals, who then protect other professionals just like them, resulting in LESS diversity?
How do you see Finance as different from other professional services industries when it comes to Diversity?
Do you ever feel like you were a "diversity hire"? Have you ever thought your coworkers thought of you as such? This is an insecurity I battle all the time.
You CAN be that leader that people want to work with. 1st, self assessment is required. Be honest: As a leader, have you engaged in/accepted Attribution Bias with a dash of gender &/or race bias? (See the pic) This is something we all need to be aware of as we lead our teams, provide performance feedback, & model the behaviors we'd like to see more of on our teams. Be on the lookout for Attribution Bias in yourself & on your team. It's a hindrance to creating a high-performing, inclusive culture.
Is QEF inclusion dividend or not? Sometimes, I see QEF inclusion reported on Line 11i and sometimes on Line 6a. I think we can rely on Sec. 1293(c) but I think it’s not foolproof. My hunch is since QEF regime is tailored to treat the PFIC similar to domestic mutual funds, we should not treat the QEF inclusion as dividends. Any help is appreciated.
Any agency in Chicago hiring for Diversity & Inclusion and open to actually addressing the challenges and make change? Bonus points for an agency that allocates a proper budget.
Curious about something so fun Friday night poll for y’all. If you are married, do you wear your ring regularly? Pls specify age, gender, and cultural background. Thanks!
Have competing offers from EY and KPMG UK Economic advisory teams( Manager/Snr Exec level). KPMG's UK technical rep and comp offer is better, but the hours appear longer. EY UK Director has had several calls selling culture (diversity and work life balance). Is there actually a substantive emphasis on this by EY? Or are 50+ hour weeks quite common? I suspect it's going to be quite team dependent/ project dependent, and therefore a gamble in any case. Thanks for any perspectives.
Next question (based on a great conversation in 1 of the threads): how do gender roles and expectations play into your decisions about work and family?
Age: 25 Gender: Male Company: ZS Associates (almost 5 YOE) Hobbies: cycling, eating ( food is the only true ❤), chess, walking Height: 6ft tall and well built Location: Hyderabad
It's really pathetic to see guys getting desperate on this bowl and due to such guys all of us get labelled creeps. I can understand you guys are not getting any due to the skewed gender ratio but please maintain some dignity. I am sure if the gender ratio was skewed in reverse then women won't be behaving in such a desperate manner and would rather stay single. My request to all guys is please have some self respect because this desperation won't lead you anywhere

Seeking the next right step and a move away from a highly toxic company. I have a lot of experience in low voltage, alarm, and SaaS. I find myself generally disgusted with the SaaS industry. My experience of it has been one of persistent moral dilemma and constant emergency level stress. I am wondering if this is just a single "bad" company, but there are a lot of good ones out there. My hope is that the community here can help.
Hi Fishes I have 4 years of experience working as a manual tester. I am currently serving my notice period. I am looking for an opportunity elsewhere for the same profile. Could you kindly refer if there are any openings.
Worked with a senior a couple years back that recently switched to FDD from audit (internal transfer) — I’m rated a high performer and would like to make the jump and I’m thinking about reaching out to him about the process, does anyone have any advice about how to go about this? I haven’t spoken with this person since we worked together. Thinking of just emailing him and expressing interest and asking how he did it
Already completed my timesheet for next week. Next Tuesday and Wednesday I’m expected to be sick 😉
What is a “due diligence” in consulting? I understand what it means in context of m&a but have been hearing this thrown around ie. this is a due diligence project
Anyone who does/has done complex construction litigation here? I’ve heard that it’s a great practice area with some of the nicest clients that are around.
Lateraled to a firm about 7 months ago and have been really unhappy. It’s not what I was told at all while interviewing, I’m getting administrative work as a mid-level, and it’s impossible to get a response from anyone at the firm whether work-related or office-related. I’m hesitant to lateral again given the threat of an upcoming recession. Any advice?
The partner I work with wants me to dictate everything for the secretary to type. I feel that I am better at typing and more productive typing my work out. I have never dictated anything in my life and don’t think I would be very efficient or effective at it, I also hate the sound of my own voice. He keeps trying to push me into dictating but I want to type my stuff out, I do not think I am that slow at typing my work etc and I am getting assigned tasks done so I do not see a difference.
Hi there, can anyone tell me how much a global partner communications manager at Cisco makes? Grade 11. Would really appreciate your insight! Cisco
Hello amazing people! - I recently transitioned into a "Senior" CSM role and I was hoping to get some direction with regards to continued career growth. I've navigated politics and growth decently thus far. But, it would be great to get a real framework built to continue towards a "Director" or "VP" role in the next 2-3 years. Do any of you have suggestions or contacts in the career coach arena? Or any suggestions in general on how to get to the "next level"? I'm in Automotive FinTech / SaaS
Looking for opinions on this process. Health tech company with a semi-luxury D2C service, $1k - $3k price point. Semi Brand Recognition with FB + IG marketing to generate leads in the Bay Area. Leads are redirected to our website, which is optimized for self-service and conversion. After a day, unconverted leads are assigned to outbound SDR team. They’ll get around 750 leads per month, converting at a 5% conversion rate. Is this viable? Thanks for your input! 🙏
Hi Fishes, this is my first post. I have about 3.5 YOE in Pharma competitive intelligence. What is the average pay for my level of experience? Also which are good companies to work in Bangalore for CI/consulting in Pharma space? Thanks!

Anyone who’s worked at or with OneMedical willing to chat? Interested in some opportunities I’ve seen there.
Biden's potential billionare tax had me thinking about revenue raised and the interest on the debt. As rates rise the debt will become increasingly un-payble. last year interest was about 10% of all revenue, if t bills are at 2.9% it may cost upwards towards 800 billion this year. Does anyone actually see a solution or are we just going sit back and watch everything fall apart :D
