Anybody work as an international tax associate for a public company? Do you enjoy the work? Have an interview but only worked in Corp tax in PA. Wondering if it's worth the quick studying to try and get myself through the interview process.

They want VAT/GST experience and international experience with EMEA & APAC region tax compliance. Honestly feel like I can learn OJT but want know if it's worth it. Thanks

I'm trying to attend several interviews. My current CTC is <10LPA, therefore even if I switch jobs and am offered a package that is 40%–50% higher than my current CTC, my new income won't be much higher than 12LPA–13LPA. However, I am on the lookout for even better ones. So, if there is a negotiation, can I mention to HR that I already have an offer of at least 12 lpa and persuade them to give me more? Will this ruse succeed? Or will they demand to show an offer letter?
