I have a straight-A student who is 2 points away from an A in my class (after grading her midterm exam). Should I give her the A or would giving her exactly what she has earned teach her valuable lesson?
As a male - what are good intro lines on dating apps? Sometimes the profiles don’t give me too many talking points
Anyone want to argue in favor of the obamacare replacement bill? Love to hear opposing view points... if they exist.
Why don’t we put those that are unvaccinated on an unofficial lockdown? Those of us that did our part should not suffer for the ignorant. Why don’t localities mandate using vaccination cards as a means of entry and deny those that aren’t. I’m tired of having my life upended by the ignorance of those who believe in right wing, scientifically unverified talking points.
Trying to build a mini stocks portfolio using 5% of my total portfolio investing in GOOGL, MSFT, AMZN, AAPL, BRKB, JNJ, and KO in the next 2 months. How should I decide the entry price points?

Checked in and had issues with fridge for a little bit, and fridge was replaced but maintenance was in room for a bit of time. Would you ask for points for inconvenience, or no since they fixed it?
I have 4454 FB love points so clearly I love this app and you guys love me, but the unnecessary political trolling as of lately is making me want to take a break until we can return to civility.
I need help with my daily makeup routine/application. I'm looking for a natural smoky look a la Olivia Pope/Kerry Washington. Any recommended tutorials to help me re-learn how to apply? Prefer someone who gets to the point, talks about technique and keeps it simple. Bonus points if there's someone who helps you identify the best looks for your eye shape. Does this unicorn exist?
Got a phone call at 7am asking to see if there was something left in my room for another guest member. Is it bad to ask for points for waking me up?

I have a question, but to put it in context takes more characters than this allows--I'll explain more in a reply. Briefly, I struggled through seven miserable years of teaching until I finally got asked back by a school in 2019. My classroom management was disastrous; I knew it, but couldn't seem to fix it. Then I took a seminar, and got better. It really was that simple, though of course I'm still learning. So, can classroom management be taught? I believe so, but no one else seems to agree.
Is there a Delta program that gives me status based on another status? Like Marriott Platinum leads to United Silver
For folks who left consulting at manager level and went to FAANG or equivalent, did you take a pay cut? Im getting a lot of ranges from recruiters that are about 30-50k below my current comp for mgr and sr manager roles, even when factoring in equity (most are around 100k 4 yr vesting). So I’m interested in knowing what kind of roles are ppl looking at to get these 30% bumps on FB or should I be asking for way more?
Was hired into a company at a level that was more junior than my skills (Was out of work due to pandemic for a year). I’ve been at the company 5 months. We’re going through a reorg and my new position will really be leveraging my years of experience more so than other role. Is it appropriate to discuss a raise/adding senior to title? Or should I do the job and then prove myself then talk about raise. I have more experience than the senior members of my team. New leadership than when I was hired
Question for the more seasoned consultants, these layoffs and overall downturn in our industry, is it an annual cycle? Or is this abnormally bad

Moms, both husband and I are nearing the end of our parental leave. We live in a two bedroom in NYC. We are thinking of hiring a nanny. The plan is that I would work from one room and husband would work from another room. We can move the changing table and pack n play in the living room, and the nanny and the baby can hang in the living room. Does this sound like a good plan?

Advise working with a coworker who doesn't "answer the question directly": I just joined a new company and I am starting to work with a coworker but I feel like he tends to deflect my questions all the time and he often gives a vague/BS answer. FOR EXAMPLE, I stepped in reviewing the list of deliverables needed for the project, I provided my input but instead of discussing the actual context, he would just gave me a bunch of historical background information. How do I "cut to the chase"?
This may sound odd but I want to eventually work at all the big 4. To me it'll be like collecting infinity stones. Once you work at all 4, what crappy super power do you get? Currently 25% of the way there
