Anyone around to help me figure out what type of tech job I would fit best in?

I’m having the hardest time finding a new job. I have 12 years of HR experience, a masters in HR, SHRM certification, and all I keep getting are rejection emails. I’ve never experienced this difficult of a time searching for new opportunities. Is this normal once you hit a certain level in your career or is it just me?

Is it worth to get an MBA? I have my CFP already and see I can get the degree online at Murray State by completing 8 total courses. Is it even worth it? other university’s that give CFP credit?

What are some good ways to find mentors? I go to college approx 30 minutes from a big city and have considered cold messaging people from those nearby businesses to meet for a meal but find this too abrupt and insincere. Fellow introverts...can I only advance in my career if I take on a leadership role? The thought of this terrifies me. My current boss hasn't exactly given me the confidence that would reassure me that I'm leadership material. He constantly questions my design choices, which I'm able to defend. It doesn't help that he always presents outdated ideas and throws UX out the window. I know that I know my stuff and keep up with best practices. I have 4+ years experience but am treated as entry level.

Do you disclose when you were promoted on your CV? I’ve been as a assistant manager for over a year but have just been ‘promoted’ to manager. Have been doing the same role for the entire time… only thing that changed was my official role title. Do I need to split this out into two roles on my CV?

Deciding between LEK and a much smaller firm doing mostly DoD consulting work. LEK offers $40k more (mostly in bonuses) than smaller firm, but smaller firm works less than 50 hrs/wk. Seems like both would be friendly workplaces. I'm having a hard time deciding. Any advice?
