It has more to do with the contract you're on than anything else, if it's healthy you may have a shot, if it's tight....no chance
If the business is doing well where you are and you're doing well then use both those points to back you up. Good luck!
What level are you? I would ask to see the salary quad chart for your level. That will tell you the lower and upper bounds of your level. Also do you know your LCAT/the profit Booz is making on you hourly? That's some other data you can use.
The answer to the OPs question of how to approach asking for a raise though... some managers you can just flat out ask, others you cannot.
Yes; I have successfully requested a raise (15% increase). Here's what I can tell you: Expect them to provide you false promises until you provide your admin team an actual offer from a competing firm; I had been told several times that my SA/ P would submit me for and approve a rate adjustment based on my current role on the current project. Also helped that I knew my LCAT rate which is rare. BAH did come trough and offer me a significant raise but I decided to take the other offer anyway as I thought it would be best for my overall career and long term growth. Hope this helps 🐟 fam
^ that's actually a great point. we've been told how "well" our account is doing on multiple occasions.
What does LCAT mean?
Labor category. I think it depends on your manager and what kind of relationship you have with him/her.
What level are you/salary/market?
Lol LCAT is Labor Category, has everything to do with contractual requirements (yrs of exp) and absolutely nothing to do with your manager LOL
Thanks for the responses. Are you able to see the salary quad chart or is this "level 5 and above"?
