Is a Sales Operations Analyst for a tech firm a good exit? Unsure of what that all entails but seeing a lot of job listings for that type of role
What are the ultimate consulting exit apps (I.e? specific role/team & industry) for the non-technical consultants? Looking to understand the exit opps available that: 1. Pay in line with MBB or exceeds (YOY raise is also in line with career and pay progression at MBB) 2. Have reasonable hours, at most 9-7 so I can pick up some hobbies and have a personal life 3. Have great global brand/prestige that will make me as desirable exiting consulting now vs exiting that company in the future
Anyone at Stripe willing to chat about a strat and ops role? I know referrals don’t really matter unless you have worked with a person before, but hoping to still get some feedback and advice on my resume and the role. Thank you in advance!
I feel like I wasted a morning. I’m pregnant, can’t focus on work, can’t take my adhd meds, in a new position with no support, and I’m nauseated all the time. I don’t know how to prioritize my work like I have in the past. Has anyone else been in this situation? Any tips?
Guys, I applied for an IBM opening through LinkedIn. I received an email from email@example.com asking to update the information. That site is actually taking me to another page to update payslips. Does IBm ask for payslips even before scheduling the interview?. Or am I getting phished here.?!
Hello Everyone, can anyone please help me with a referral with PWC India? Will be obliged for your help.
Started a new role within my org <1 year ago (been with the co several years) and have received incredibly positive feedback from many people about my performance so far, including my manager. I expressed my desire to revisit my compensation (off-cycle) because I am by all accounts exceeding expectations for my role and my manager was very supportive and encouraged me to provide them with a write up of what I want and why. Any advice? I’ve researched salary comps already
Rejected by 2 exit ops after on-sites where 2 of 3 recruiters sent a personal message/email saying something like "you seem great/qualified but not the right fit". One said "the HM said you seem really bright and would hire asap if we were looking for a generalist". Another said "this isn't about weakness or lack of experience, just questions on fit". Do recruiters say this to a lot of people or is this genuine? Trying to gauge whether my interview performance is at least solid.
I got hired in industry to do a certain role. Now the company wants to use my consulting skillset to do something completely different (op model). I’m game, I guess - but how do I bring up that I feel I should receive additional compensation for this work?

The dogsitter just texted to say the dog ran past her into the lobby and now they are both locked out of the apartment. I’m on a flight from LAX, 3.5 hrs to go. Just felt you all should know.

Anyone knows of any Complete remote roles (Accounting/finance/advisor/consulting)? I am a recently promoted Audit Senior out of NYC office.
A junior requested to be reassigned from my project because I let them know they were under performing and delayed a project deadline due to inaction. They've let me know that I've made them feel pretty bad and does not think I'm a good manager. However it has been a consistent issue with this individual (lack of initiative, motivation, sloppy deliverables, and does not ask questions when they are unclear on an ask). I have tried to make space for them to ask questions and take initiative (cont)
Would anyone be willing to chat who made the jump from big 4 —> tech —> MBB? I did not have a great experience in tech and looking to pivot back into consulting. Went to a non-target undergrad but 10 YOE at good firms.
Exploring a potential data analytics role at MBB that isn’t part of their general consulting track… it seems more like an internal service that partners with consulting teams and occasionally is client facing. I’m interested in pursuing an MBA in the near-ish future and I’m curious how much this would help my application versus staying in my current role as a B4 consultant?
Thoughts on Jabian consulting? Up for promotion in July, and got presented to interview with Jabian. Working on getting to Capgemini Invent right now after my promotion. Jabian is offering a much better salary but its a boutique firm. Should I consider Jabian, or go to Capgemini Invent and get better exit opportunities?
Hey guys - I work at FAANG right now, and planned on an mba in the next 2-3 years. Have an opportunity with McKinsey as a consultant. Always wanted to work there, but only for a short stint - feel like it will 1) boost my overall profile for an mba application 2) give me the experience I’m looking for before mba because post mba I’d like to focus on my own venture. Also folks at McKinsey - would love to hear what conditions there are for getting an mba sponsored at the firm. Thanks!
Finance transformation consultants, where have you exited to and what do you do now? I’d prefer not to exit to industry finance but don’t know what else I’m qualified for
Had final interview at startup with CEO and would-be direct supervisor and at the end they were using language like "you'll be our first [name of role]"... Does this mean I basically got it, or should I not read into it? I'll find out soon anyway, but appreciate any speculation 😅
Currently work at AWS in Business Intelligence and am looking to transfer into Product Management. Looking at MBB eventually. In my experience, most people from MBB have FAANG as their exit op. Why?
Just filed a formal complaint with HR about my boss bullying me... am not hopeful, but curious to see where it leads. Lesson to everyone: always build up a reserve of FU money in the bank!
