Are alternative investments a good area to get started in? I’m making a career change from insurance and like asset management, possibly at Northern Trust. Received offer from BCG for ECT AD role. Read numerous comments about ECT being not attractive compared to Generalists track. Also heard challenges about billability/utilization. Any views/guidance is appreciated.
