Hello fishie friends! I’m 34 and had 28 eggs frozen, done when I was 32 and 33 (I did 2 rounds).

Im curious, is 28 a sufficient number of eggs? I know it’s tricky to guess, knowing there’s a drop off going from eggs to embryos and implantation. But I’d like to be pregnant in my late 30s, would like 2 kids (can be natural or from frozen eggs).

So, my question: Would you feel comfortable with 28 frozen for 1-2 kids or should I go in for a round 3?

My wife is a Social media manager at a non profit. She has over 6 years of experience in the field. She is planning to switch careers and need some advice on where to start. She loves working on excel and she does Google and Facebook analytics at work.

I was advising here to look in to data scientist since that is the coolest job in the market at the moment.

What would you guys recommend and where should she start?

I started a new job 3 months ago. The team during interviews expressed work life balance was a value and the team typically works a regular 40 hours consistently and about 60 hours during busy season in January and September through November. Since I joined in April, we worked every single weekday and Saturday for 12 hours. They say this is not the usual, but i heard that so much in public accounting. I’m already thinking about changing jobs. Is this a bad idea?

When you leave, does it make a difference to companies if you made it through at least a busy season as a senior or just that you have the title? I did have some experience this year as an A2 where I split some of the senior responsibilities with the manager. However, I’m worried if I leave before busy season, companies will see that as really just being an associate.

How do you guys like to respond when being asked what is your experience/how comfortable are you working with large data sets?

Big 4 and MBB engagement managers (helping with scheduling etc.) , the average salary is $120k. Does that sound right? Seems very high since it's up there with audit manager salary.

I have accepted a mid size company 6 months contract staff accountant role. However, I will have interviews with couple of large companies by the same week of my start date. My question is, if I’m lucky enough to get the offer, is it bad to leave the contract after a couple of months? I don’t see any legal restrictions.

Forgive my ignorance but do I have to put my two weeks in immediately after accepting an offer? Just not sure what the timeline looks like.

However, i am currently starting a large client audit starting next week and I’m the only senior on the job. Do you think it would be bad to leave as this new client is starting?
