Anyone been on a big team before and it doesnt match their personality? ( as in smaller teams are for them) I have gotten feedback that I dont do check ins or ask questions enough. But I feel as if working on a big team is overwhelming. Im not a fan of my team I really want to leave and get a fresh start elsewhere in a firm I feel is a better fit!

I've only worked on small teams (benefit of being in fs audit at a mid-size)!

But I get that would be tough. I'm an introvert and it would prob drive me nuts having to communicate with so many people

like

Pwc- not ignoring the dm, just had some home stuff pop up and would rather give a thoughtful reply. Expect it tomorrow :)

I hear you. Communicating the same thing with 20 different people is super inefficient.

I would like the subteams idea better. I’ve been on things where there would be so many checkins that I kept track and it would waste about 5 hours a week

Everyone’s different so if you work better on small teams I bet that can be accommodated if you let everyone know.

Anybody tried to negotiate with IqViA and got a better offer? Will offer higher?

Hi tax 🐠,

I have a question for those who prep individual tax returns. My parents claim my grandfather as a dependent on their tax return and due to their low income, receive PTC for the premiums they pay on his insurance (not eligible for medicare). However, would it be advantageous to have him file for his own tax return (he stays with my parents and doesn't have his own proof of residency via bills). If so, can he get PTC if his income is 0?
