Hello! Is anyone working at Spotify or HubSpot within product/project management that would be willing to connect for a virtual coffee chat?
I’m a recent grad and currently working in tech/product development. I have been interested in growing my career at either of these companies and would be grateful to gain insight on day-to-day and steps you took to successfully break in.
I know this might be a big ask here, but it’s been difficult trying to land one on LinkedIn. Thanks in advance

Tough it out until you can find a project that needs you. Then get the new project to pull you out
Get off the project without making waves. Quickest way to get burned out and leave a firm is to be on bad projects.
From my opinion ask to be rolled off, when I was at ACN, I was on a project that was a really bad fit, I talked to my manager and CC and they agreed it wasn't the correct placement and no bridges were burned
Talk to the engagement manager and ask to take on a more challenging role. At least with more responsibilities you can showcase your skills, impress the partner and might get staffed better next time
Thanks all
Stick it out unless another project really wants you and that partner can push for you. Analysis: why are you not a good fit? A. You aren't good at that type of work? You can't leave and admit you are bad at it. B. You don't like the people? You'll burn bridges and start gossip by asking to leave from that. Only viable answer is to stick it out and do your best and improve what you don't like until an exit opportunity arises.
I don't enjoy the work. It's not as challenging as I'm used to. I'm not motivated. The work is below my level and I don't see opportunities for growth. The project is long term and I'm concerned about doing the same thing for so long and missing promotion opportunities.
Definitely true. I've only been on this project for a month and I've already been looking into outside opportunities. Thanks.
