I’m traveling at 9am, so I need to sleep and pack tonight. Do I take 2 hours out of Thanksgiving tomorrow? Try to get it in tonight? Tell them to pound sand until Friday/Monday?

I used to be a big fan of Jetblue(nyc based), but lately I feel like the airline is just as bad as the low cost ones. Old aircrafts, canceled and delayed flights. I can see why it’s important for JetBlue to have this merger for their relevance in this field.

My uncle I met a week ago suddenly died. He hid his heart condition from his wife, my aunt. He was having tea in the morning when he had a stroke. She did not have a last word or consider the possibility that he’d pass away so suddenly and soon. She is beating herself up over how he left and they didn’t have a chance to talk that morning. Maybe a dumb question for a lawyer, but is it normal to not be allowed to review an invention assignment agreement and post-employment restrictive covenant agreement at the offer letter stage? I’m told they can’t share prior to onboarding (I’ll be asked to sign them then) but I know I’m not going to sign some crazy non-compete so would like to see the drafts before accepting the offer.

Recently interviewed at Adobe, it was great. Even the senior designer I was connected with escalated it a lot. But then suddenly after the last interview, I haven’t heard in a week from them even after multiple follow ups. Recruiter said she will reach out on Monday, but even Tuesday passed now. What would u do? 3 YOE HCOL city and I have 2 potential options:
1) move to a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm in a similar role as I have now (client facing consulting role).. 120-130 base + 20% bonus
2) a product specialist role at Meta (FB). This told role product management, it’s analytics heavy. $107k base, 10% bonus, $30K stock.

At the end of the day, TC for both is similar. As far as exit opportunities I’m not sure what is better, so looking to get other people’s opinions.
