Hi,
Can TCS employees avail any relocation benefit in form of allowances or accommodation for returning back to base location?
I got virtually onboarded for Pune Location but my hometown is in Harayana. Now that TCS is calling employees base location, will I be eligible for any such perks?

Grew up in Vietnam here: November is a good time to visit. In the north (i.e. Hanoi), the weather is dry in general, and it’s still warm enough for t-shirt & shorts. In the south (i.e. Saigon), it’s warm all year round, you might encounter some sprinkling throughout the day, but it won’t impact your plans.
The food scene in Vietnam is phenomenal (i.e. words from my US friends who visited), so bring a lot of Tums or Pepto pills since you might not be used to the local cuisine yet I’d still recommend to try a little bit of everything!
And were there a lot a tourists that time?
I’ve never really felt an influx of tourist/crowds in SE Asia even when I’ve been in the summer. I think you’ll be just fine. There are certainly a lot of people visiting...but it’s not like going to Europe.
Monsoon season is over by then. You should experience some good weather in November. The weather tends to “cool” down a bit and the humidity isn’t that bad either.
I went to Vietnam last November. It was pouring the first day i got there and i think that was the only time. It was pretty hot in Saigon (in the 90s and its very humid). We also went to Hanoi which was in the 70s/80s.
