Polar H10 is supposed to be the best band on the market. I don’t use them but I’ve been thinking of getting one. Look it up. Seems very highly recommended.

If you have another one that works don’t buy it. If you don’t, it’s a solid purchase.

Look up

He did a comparison on all types of straps

I bought the peloton heart rate arm band this week and am happy about the purchase. Quickly connects to the peloton and is much more comfortable than chest straps.

Did anyone else think that Budweiser Grand Prix campaign was mediocre?

Hi! Anyone here work at Nestle? I have an interview coming up and would love to see what you think of them as a company/ the culture!

Anyone wanna confess anything? It's been a while 🧐

Start training for an assurance internship Monday. I’m 25, dont drink, and don’t plan on becoming best friends with other interns. How bad is it if I just sit for training and then do my own thing?

I just got word that my boss returned from vacation with covid, and he and his whole family have it. They are home, but he’s planning to come in to the office Wednesday. They got on the plane knowing they had covid, and I already feel like he doesn’t care about my well being. I don’t want to come in to work, bc I’m scared to catch it. He said it’ll be 5 days since his symptoms onset by then (Wednesday) but I don’t believe him. Do I HAVE TO come to work if I’m scared? Will insurance help?

Hi All,

Any update on WFH continuity?

how long after a lateral superday should you wait before accepting the ding?

Any business analyst looking for an exciting career with one of the top consulting firms of canada?

Does anyone use Affinity or MadeMarket for CRM functions at their firms. Asking as the only analyst on my team would be useful from my perspective. Any thoughts?

I’m sure this has been discussed several times but Taking into account the network opportunities, cost of living, family life, and overall quality of the team, what are the best cities to work in for the major consulting firms? Or is there any sort of measure for which cities rank highest in terms of employee preference?

Does anyone have leads for a recent MPH Epidemiology grad with 0-2 YOE to get into consultant roles in Healthcare/life sciences?

Second question: what sort of work experiences are companies like flatiron and komodo health looking for to work in RWE/heor? I'm not sure how to leverage Epidemiology to get into that space :(

In TCS what basis will give band. Based on exp or package???

Anyone here who moved from India to Singapore in a VC/PE firm or FANG (business roles) in the last year with new EP issued (not an internal transfer)?

Do you parents call you? Or do you call them? How often?

If “my” LinkedIn rep passes me to a different LinkedIn rep and avoids my requests for in person meetings one more time.....

Can someone tell me difference between in3 and IN4 . I have 10 YOE and they are offering me IN3 role . I think I am eligible for IN4. I do not wish to work at lower designation while people with less experience are at IN4 . Is it a wise decision?

Any experiences/credible resources for or against raising kids with a vegan/pescatarian diet? My husband strongly believes we should. I eat meat, but want to keep an open mind.

Does anyone have an app recommendation that is user-friendly, female-body friendly, provides recommendations of workout routines specific to using gym equipment, and if possible, has variety (not just do this move 3x, 12 reps over and over)? I’m thinking about joining a gym down the street that is just machines (no classes), but want to remove the headache of coming up with what to do there on my own. Thanks!

Hi ladies, what has worked for you in losing fat around thighs/calves? I know spot reduction doesn’t work, but I lose weight in chest and face too quickly while my thighs don’t seem to budge. I’m pear shaped—so alternatively looking for a way to look more balanced.

Does anyone here have similar symptoms and how do they get relief?
I suffer year long with allergies, at least that’s what I call it.
I can’t breath well from my nose, mostly blocked. Medicines like Flonase, allergies meds, nasal rinse and steam give me some relief but not that much.
Every few months the fluids in my sinuses are not drained and I develop an infection.
Body ache, bad headache in the morning etc.
Been to many doctors but they shrug their shoulders and ask me to keep the same meds

Weight loss.
I’ve gained about 10-12 pounds over the last few months. I recently got married (hasn’t been smooth sailing) and am transitioning into a new job (after a stressful few months w my current employer)
The weight gain has affected my confidence and just overall mental health immensely. What has worked for you all? Any vitamins or routines that you recommended?

Every time I shower and take a look at my body in the mirror, I feel so disgusted and ashamed and feel like crying. I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been. I can’t seem to eat healthier and stay on an exercise routine, even though 1 year ago, I was the most fittest and healthiest I’ve ever been. Feeling hopeless and very ugly.

How do you stay keto when traveling? Any tips?

Big law fish: what have you found most useful / are your best tips and practices for staying healthy while working big law hours? Specifically in terms of eating healthy, getting movement and exercise in, and making healthy choices. Looking for more ways to refine my habits health wise

After 17 days of eating mostly health and booze I ate a burger and tots yesterday. Gained 3 lbs overnight somehow 😞

Back to an almost empty gym for the first time after 18 months of at-home work outs.

- Bench press only down 20% from 2020
- Got to judge people’s gym attire again (shout out to my dude doing curls in a weight vest)
- Sick chest pump on peck deck

- No bros to share aforementioned chest pump with
- Squat down 40% since 2020
- Can’t walk rn

For those that underwent rhinoplasty and steroid injects post operatively, did the injection cause additional swelling and side effects ? If so, what side effects did you deal with and for how long?

Started eating healthier and weighing myself each morning. Today is day 4 and I am down 3.8 lbs. at what point does is stop being water weight and start counting as substantial weight loss?

Recommendations for runners shoes? Shoes from walmart destroying my feet. Blisters on both feet. In a lot of pain 😓

I’ve been trying to cut weight now for some time and can’t seem to make a big cut. I was around 212 in November/December and around 198 now but still feel massive. I’ve gone from 2500 cals down to 2k and don’t know if I’m stalling or just carb sensitive. When I counted macros a while back and did low carbs I saw differences but then have also been told it’s cals not carbs..

I used to be very active but lately I’ve been down and I can’t shake it. I use to love working out to relieve anxiety and stress and now all I want to do is lay in bed in the dark and listen to my fan. How do you get back to getting on your feet and start to feel better? This may be a complex question but maybe reading ideas will help.

If anyone has dinnerly and wants to share a free box code with me, let me know!

I’m 26 lbs from my goal weight (27 lbs lost so far) and I feel like I’m not losing the weight strategically. Anyone have advice on weight training programs or any info on body recomposition?

Foolish question - but can you stay fat / bloated from OVER exercising (specifically cardio)? Could you be stressing your body too much to the point that you stay bloated.

Are any of you also constantly tired despite getting an avg of 7 hours of sleep a night ? I wonder if it’s the job taking a toll or the constant flying

As someone whose weight tends to fluctuate, I am absolutely ecstatic that I’ve been able to maintain (even lose ~5lbs) during quarantine! Stepped on the scale this morning and had to share my exciting news 🤗

It’s easy to get into a rut ... but I’ve been treating myself to one small treat a day (i.e. dark chocolate or a cookie) and it has done wonders for easing cravings. Get outside, do some pushups between calls, you can do this health-fam 💪🏻💯🔥
