Recent new hire here.. is there a way to see your specific level within your rank (e.g. senior 1 vs. senior 2)? Or is this something to ask HR? There wasn’t any indication during the hiring process unless it could be inferred by salary. Thanks!

Cisco vs Salesforce. Currently M level and would be about a 20% bump and SM level at both companies. The overall comp and role is very close. Which would you choose?

Posted on here a few weeks back about having interviews with Facebook, stripe, Microsoft, Lyft etc. As of today I’ve been rejected by all of them! Makes almost 20 rejections in the past year. Still crawling through the mud and tears 16 months later. I’ve seen a lot of crazy successes on this app and thought I’d share my failure.

I got an invite to interview at a big regional firm but I just started at my current mid-size firm like a month ago. Should I still interview even though I just started? The regional firm might pay more and have more benefits but I don’t know for sure until interview and get more details. What should I do?

Does anyone have experience transitioning from private practice to in-house, specifically with clients? FYI, associate at a midsize and have been lucky enough to bring in my own clients since I’ve started. In considering in-house, will I have to leave my clients at the firm? Or is there a way to service them while in-house?

Confession: I'm a woman & I don't like working for women. In my exp, esp at a senior level, women are catty & competitive w/ their direct female reports. Give me a cool middle aged dad boss any day.

I told my long distance boyfriend that I had a super long day and I am too tired to cook. I asked him could he order me food 🥺 and he said “You’re a working woman you can order your own food.” Like obviously I can order my own food..I make more than enough money and live comfortably but it’s not about that…I just wanted to feel cared for.. I ordered my own food lol as I usually do but Idk I feel sad. Is it bad that this scenario made me think maybe I shouldn’t do long distance

Hi there, I have a question and this may sound silly, but here it goes: My boyfriend and I moved in together and before I met him I was spending about $50-60 a week in groceries, now that we are living together, we spilt the grocery bill in half and my average weekly grocery bill is $125. I'm a small female and he is a very tall and athletic male, we definitely buy more for him to eat. Its been agitating me and I don't know what to do. advice, tips?

I've been working as a Data Scientist in small firms where mainly my work has been constricted to PoCs and MVPs (most of it using ready models from GCP / AWS). Even though the learning has been great (i come from a non CS background), as i accumulate years within the field i need to show some advanced skills to keep up with the market. Any suggestions as to what might be the best way to gain solid experience within the field and secure my career path? YoE: 2.5
