I’ve been getting into a healthier routine and make a meal replacement smoothie every morning. I bought a bunch of palisade peaches from a stand and chopped some up and froze them.

Mixed them up today with some OJ, Fairlife milk, unflavored protein powder, spinach, hemp seeds and chia seeds. Best smoothie yet!

Would it make more sense for public accounting to follow more of a big law / IB type of salary/bonus structure for junior staff? And bonuses make up a bigger portion of total comp e.g. all 1st yrs make X and bonuses range from Y-Z based on performance. All 2nd years make N and bonuses range etc

Just wondering what opportunities are there for junior to mid career professionals in US international tax to work abroad in UK or Australia? Is there a need for US tax professionals there (i.e. Big 4s or in house) or would one need to learn the local tax laws and would that learning be relatively "easier" given existing background in US tax. Cheers

I have been in the US from Canada on contract for the past 6 months. My fiancé and I were supposed to get married and move here permanently in the fall. I worked so hard for this. She’s ripping out my heart, and taking my livelihood away. Am I wrong to not abide by her choice? Ask for the ring back?

Hello!
I am currently a substation design electrical engineer 1.

I am making $71k a year from a large Consulting firm.

I have a bachelors and masters degree in Electrical Engineering. I have passed the FE & PE exams, I am an EIT, and I have a year of experience outside of school. Three internships as an engineer while I was in school.

I feel like I am underpaid and would like to know the thoughts of others. I feel undervalued in comparison to what other companies over that do the same work.
