Role - Scala developer

I got a call from a consultancy few months back for a job role in a company but interview never happened. Now, i am interviewing directly with the same company and cleared first round. I got call again from same consultancy for the same position. I told i am already interviewing for the same company. I wonder if this call would spoil my chances any way?

I have been giving interview from last 2 months and yet I haven't got a single offer and people here are getting multiple offers. Even if interview goes nice, I would get rejection mail.

I guess Luck matters a lot even if you perform well. There would be always someone who will do better than you.

I am getting demotivated, but have to continue trying hard.
