Anyone combine ADHD meds with Nootropics? I do a lot of work in the startup/VC community and it seems everyone in that world is obsessed with nootropics. They have private message boards, meetups, etc., just to discuss the topic. I know at least a half dozen companies that have very active Slack channels on the topic where everyone from the CEO on down debates various cocktails, programs, brands.

Am I missing something? Last I read the research was VERY inconclusive.

Idk if it’s placebo or what but I’ve had good results from ginkgo and I believe that’s been backed by studies. I think part of being adhd is trying to hack/cheat code our brains. I’ve been drinking Kin euphorics recently and love it. However I also realized that Wellbutrin made such a difference. Spent so much time trying to maximize my meds but it’s hard if your reward/motivation system is off

For context, the only thing that intrigues me is memory enhancement. My current meds work and I'm happy with their efficacy. But in chatting about nootropics the big thing that comes up is memory.

I've never had a great memory and it's something I would consider exploring. Here again it seems literature is all over the place about efficacy.

Vyvanse

I’ve tried it and it’s intense but makes for a hard crash

What types of nootropics are we talking about here?

I have a tried a lot but all seem to
Not deliver what they allege unfortunately. Mushrooms like Lions Mane, Cordyceps and Turkey Tail I still take though. Not really nootropics but a big part of the discussion. If you do get nootropics, Nootropics Depot is trustworthy with testing and whatnot but admittedly a little more expensive.

i microdose psilo & use b vitamins for energy/focus

Bacopa every day seems to help me with memory

Is this normal? Should I stick it out for a few days or is this a big sign that I’m not on the right meds/dose? Nervous to keep trialling this during the workday since a midday crash is not ideal.
