My first thought was how rough the time zone would be 😅

Of course, the world doesn’t revolve around east coast. I live in west coast but I wonder why I still get east coast clients.
Oh wait.. I know why. we are a national practice.

Yes, the options are definitely more limited but it isn't impossible. Main players on island are EY and D, but i think other B4 also have a presence. Our colleagues there wear a lot of hats (for example, I know several who do both audit and consulting work, depending on pipeline needs).
For consulting, EY mainly does internal audit-related work and has a relatively small team there. Clients are mostly travel & leisure (airlines, hotels, & tourism) and local/regional banks.
Booz, Deloitte, and KPMG all have offices in Hawaii. PwC used to have an office but closed it years ago. My understanding is that clients are primarily focused on government and travel/tourism with some RE work.
Have considered this move previously.
Have heard that D has an office but doesn’t do consulting work. Anyone know for sure?

I have traveled to clients in Hawaii, which I imagine is how most people work on a Hawaii client.
