What is your plan to handle family assets back home? My family has assets (residential land, real estate holdings, agricultural land holdings, residential plots and commercial shops) in Northern India and its the eerie feeling of relatives, neighbors and local folks in general eyeing those assets with an anticipation that I am not returning back? Have been US for 14 years, and SO and kids are here too. Parents are getting old but are not interested in disposing off the assets for relocation🤔
EY ay options for Atlanta?
Based on where you're located at, I can give you some options
I live in NJ, work in NY. Thanks in advance
Goldy Beacom in Delaware, Harrisburg University of Science & Technology in Harrisburg PA.
Afaik, Harrisburg is a better option than Goldy beacom
Thanks. Why do you say Harrisburg is better than Goldey Beacom?
I know someone who is doing this and one of the reasons they mentioned is because Harrisburg offers several start dates whereas some other universities have only one start date. Second, I believe the Harrisburg campus has the best reputation amongst immigration officers .
I second with PWC1.
@capgemini1: afaik, there is no option in the south
Do you know anyone who did a CPT at Harrisburg and got H1B approved recently (this year or last)? Did they have any issues?
I do. They had no issues. Approved last oct and stamping was done in December..
However, I heard EY doesn’t let you work on CPT anymore. Confirm with the HR/immigration
Look in to Cumberlands univ as well
@PwC2, did this person do a 2nd Masters at Harrisburg? I'm not sure if I can justify a 2nd Masters in my case. Harrisburg does not offer MBA courses for CPT.
@OP EY won't let you work on CPT. They changed this policy last year. I had asked the HR.
Yup, moving to another company
OP - yes, Harrisburg. The person did masters in project management
