Eggs, cheese, yogurt, paneer, tofu, veggies, avocado, protein powder (after workouts). And if I’m feeling fancy, almond/coconut flour based breads. Oh, and fake cauliflower/zucchini stuff like “hashbrowns”, “rice”, or zoodles!
Lost 13-14 pounds over 1.5 months. Then fell off the horse because I was in India for the holidays (but didn’t gain any weight back). I’m pretty close to my goal weight though, so I’m chilling and focusing more on working out/building muscle now. Still staying low carb whenever possible though, and looking at diet options like carb cycling instead of strict keto.
Idk, D1. Just ate stuff that felt right and tracked religiously on MyFitnessPal etc. E.g. no breakfast/keto coffee; lunch - eggs with sautéed veggies, cheese and avocado; dinner: zucchini noodles with avocado sauce. I wasn’t traveling much at the time so it was easier. But with intermittent fasting, you can probably get away with slightly more carbs than strictly 5-10%. Carry walnuts/almonds so that if the lunch/dinner options are carby, you can eat less of them and fill up on your “snacks” instead. I found that at nicer restaurants, the apps have half decent options (like burrata, stuffed mushrooms, etc). It is definitely harder to be keto on the road though, so good luck!
C1 how have your results been so far?
Sample meal plan? Also are on the road? I am vegetarian and have been only gaining weight
