Yes. Black. 4 tops and bottoms, all in a slightly different style but pretty similar. It’s the best work related decision I ever made.
I’m a boots or flats lady.
I’m the same way. I’ve found that I like to pick out a specific style of shirts (ex. Tunic long sleeves in winter) and just interchange between a few them with black leggings or jeans.
Dresses. Put one on, done. Sandals or ballerina flats in the summer, boots in winter.
But in the winter you need tights. So it’s the same as pants and a top. Unless you live somewhere warmer. But yes, in general, dresses are very practical.
I don’t do a uniform but I work off the same basic formula every weekday and it’s made getting dressed in the morning easier, faster and less stressful for me. It’s mostly high-waisted black jeans, black boots, an unfussy top (meaning something I won’t be annoyed about during the day) and a leather jacket, denim jacket, a bomber or maybe a vest over the top of that. There are some variations, and it gets less simple when it’s warmer out, but those are the basics.
I plan what to wear the night before or I'll never get into the office. I lay out the clothes on a chair. Took about 10 years to finally get to that level of organization. I love wearing different clothes so a uniform would never work for me but planning the outfit at night without feeling rushed and being at peace in the a.m. that it's figured out, and I still get to dress differently, has really helped feel good.
Black and white clothes and nice bold accessories.
Jeans (black or blue), white shirt, various jackets, bags, boots/shoes to add a bit of variety.
This is me.
My pregnancy wardrobe is a uniform... only purchased pieces in white, black or grey to make sure the pieces would see me through and all pair together. Game changer, especially considering I can’t even fit into my maternity jeans now 😂
😂 Omg I realized what happened to me now! I’m doing the same! I just didn’t think it was because of pregnancy (black, white and grey), but it totally is!
Mm La fluer has a great blog post about this. They’re clothes are a little pricey, but easy to style multiple different ways
yes. button downs and jeans, pair with skirts in the summer. brown or black flats depending on the color very liz lemon.
Black all day. Add in neutrals selectively.
I just never could quite figure out how to put one together with the right pieces. Any tips/inspiration much appreciated!
