Anyone done a health insurance for parents beyond just the usual visitor insurance? My parents want me to try and get a “normal” health insurance for them (because one of their uncles did it some years ago) and I’m not sure it’s possible. Thoughts?

Over 20 plus years with this company my base pay has gone up every couple of years. The biggest growth in my salary has come as a "Bonus pd 1x/yr" which now is over 50% of my cash compensation. Base plus bonus plus benefits is on the Lower half of my industry Salary Value from talking to industry colleagues.

I recently joined tcs and got allocated to a project. Now for project related account activation and setup they need to install an app in mobile. Unfortunately the app isn't allowed in Xiaomi/ redmi/oppo/vivo phones but allowed in realme/OnePlus/Samsung/iphone. Reporting manager is saying he can't wait 30-40 days to get the phone from client/company side and will onboard someone else on the project if I am unable to arrange. And it won't be reimbursed if I buy on my own.

Car theft is on rise in my area. I want to put safeguards in my car like gps tracker or anything that's available commercially. I heard phone companies have something that uses their cellphone towers to keep track. Any suggestions on gps trackers or other brand products. I am really worried that due to car shortage and job losses thefts are going to go up. One of my colleague on H1b joined Deloitte an year back. When he initiated his GC, there was law firm change happening in Deloitte and his request was placed on hold. After constantly following up, for 5-6 months new law firm informed that he only has an year left before max out and refused to file PERM. He reached out to Talent too but with no result.His visa is expiring in next 4 months and recently Talent informed that he cannot take transfer to India due to annual freeze. Any options?
