In search of interview advice!

After about a full year of attempting to make a career shift into career services in higher education, I am finally getting interviews. I recently interviewed for a Career Coach position at a community college. Tomorrow, I have an interview for an Assistant/Associate Director for the career development office at a law school. Advice on how to market myself or what questions I can expect with not a lot of experience in my background would be appreciated!

Do you want to see months/dates on resume? I removed them bc they clearly indicate I am over 45.

(1) I recently interviewed for a senior auditor position at a company and hadn’t heard back from them so I followed up. The recruiter’s response was that I was still being considered for the position but the team had moved forward with other candidates that were better suited due to their experience. The recruiter also said that they enjoyed my interview but the team felt I needed a bit more work experience and that they would reach out if they would like to move forward with me.

I applied for a job and was interviewed by the TA Lead who told me that he'll follow up with me on Monday after connecting with the HR team. How long should I wait until I follow up? I sent a follow up at the end of the day Monday but haven't heard back yet. Should I assume I didn't get selected? I'm really excited about this position but don't want to be that "annoying" candidate either haha
