Just stay organized and be proactive with your calls. Also they will try to bait you into making recommendations without understanding their needs. Just tell them you’d love to talk further and try to schedule the apt to meet.

I work at Ed Jones and also agree with Senior Consultant 1. I’m leaving soon

like

Just say “yes” to EDJ if you’re new to the industry. You’ll actually have a career in the industry later. Very good training.

like

Jones is a great place for just that

Sales training is good. They have a great system of mentors and coaches, which is the best way to learn. You have people that give you timely feedback. I wanted more flexibility and freedom, otherwise I’d still be happy there.

Def - only as good as the people who are in the region. Most seem to have an overall positive experience

Just hammer the phone. It’s a good place to start but look to get out early. I left after 1 year and glad I did

Scenario: A person with 13 YOE had 40 lpa fixed + 10 % bonus total 44 lpa ctc salary in her company. She switches to Infosys at a salary cut due to location constraints and was paid 40 Lpa ctc (only 32 fixed and 8 lpa variable out of which only 50-60% is paid). While in probation period in Infosys, she receives a permanent wfh opportunity from a small but fast growing company at 45 lpa fixed. So overall benefit she has is 45-36=9 lacs. Should she leave Infosys and join the new smaller company?

Hi all,
I need one help. Some recruiter asked me to send last pay slip and relieving letter even before scheduling the interview, kept calling me multiple time for this. She’s staffing for EY but she’s from vizolt (her mail ID says so)

Is this a fake call to collect information or is that how EY interviews are usually?
