I’m unemployed and job searching so I have to be strict with my time and do things that make me happy! I try mix it up, I love baking so baking cakes, reading books and utilising the local library to save money. I’ve watched lots of great documentaries, started doing yoga daily, online courses which are free through eDx. Exploring my neighbourhood! Cleaned our clutter etc. great to have lots of time to plan goals, connect with friends and family and find what brings joy to life whereas otherwise we are so busy doing instead of enjoying life!

Quarantine / No Travel has treated me well. Not traveling has allowed me to heavily re-engage in sports that I have not had the time to play since high school/early college (nearly a decade). I almost feel like a teenager/kid again with this whole other life outside of work, and it is SO refreshing. When restrictions were tighter and I could not engage in these activities, I sadly dove down political rabbit holes (hard not to with such present current events); And man was that comparably toxic to what I'm doing now.

Biking is only expensive if you want to go fast. You can get the same workout on a $300 used bike as you would on a $5000 bike. You might go farther on the expensive bike, but the effort and calories burned can be very similar. Buy a nice saddle though. Bad ones ruin cycling.

Not a “hobby,” but a favorite pastime, akin to meditation for me. Just disconnect, and start walking. Keep walking, for miles and miles. You’d be surprised what amazing thoughts you’ll have, how much more in tune with yourself you’ll become, and how much your wellbeing and energy will improve!
