Anyone else eagerly awaiting Apple Fitness? Since I already have storage, TV +, and music I decided to bundle into a subscription that included Fitness but all I can find is “late 2020.”

You’ll have to try Emily Fayette’s classes when it comes out!

Someone laughed at my comment but she really is the best. She’s been on a few platforms before but most notably was a hugely successful flywheel instructor in nyc. She is also a runner, finishing the nyc/Boston marathons in under 3 hours. 🥳

Good luck with the classes!

Yes! I did the same and am (impatiently) waiting for the release.

My school is a small rural school. We don’t offer many in-house electives. What’s happening is students are having to take whatever is there to fill their schedules. If they aren’t interested in the class, then it becomes an opportunity for disruptions because they aren’t interested. What are some electives you have at your school that are new, innovative and interesting for todays high school students?

Deducting S Corp owner health insurance when they aren't really an employee? Owner doesn't do anything for the business anymore, but still wants the health insurance.

"Health and accident insurance premiums paid on behalf of a greater than 2-percent S corporation shareholder-employee are deductible by the S corporation and reportable as wages on the shareholder-employee’s Form W-2, subject to income tax withholding."

This is a kind of funky question but I need as many ears as I can get - are you still doing safeguard forms or symptom check forms in your offices? How is your RTO process evolving from a legal protections standpoint?

I think our HR team wants to get “back to normal” and get rid of most of our guardrails but I’m having trouble ascertaining the evolving risk.

Wondering if anyone struggles with a similar problem I do - I was a volleyball player/serious athlete from 10 until I finished playing my senior year of college. I then worked as a full time volleyball coach/assistant director of operations for a super competitive club in south Florida. I changed career paths for stability and money increase, but now I find when I’m super stressed at work I avoid the gym. I normally go 4-6 days per week and consider it an outlet, but now seems to add stress.

Newbie question: I’m looking to lose the last ~15 lbs and put on some lean muscle. Female, new to weightlifting. I’m getting a lot of conflicting advice online. Currently Im planning to eat in a deficit (CICO), and do a fully body routine focused on compound movements 3x a week. I already do cardio 3/4x per week. Is this ideal? Should I be lifting more? Im seeing some people say lift 6x a week and some say you need recovery days

Asked for a LOA because I just got bad medical news and want time to process & find surgeons (I have to decide between staying in constant pain or being able to have kids one day). HR said it’s not a valid reason & I’ll lose my insurance at the end of the month if I take leave. They want me to use my 5 days of sick time & return to work after. I have an underlying autoimmune issue & need to save my sick days in case of a flare up. Ranting, but a reminder that companies don’t care about anyone
