Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?

I got an offer from Capgemini (Aricent) of 35LPA(32Fixed +3variable) for senior professional 1.
Before interview I had asked for 40 LPA.
But After Hr discussion post interview , I cake down to 35LPA fixed.
Still they offered me 32 fixed +3 variable.
Will they reconsider the offer by any chance, if I talk to to them. If not, then should I join cap gemini?

Please help me to clear my confusion.

Hey Mamas. I’m in the final interview stages for a new higher level job that would demand many more hours of my time including some nights and weekends. Right now I have a stable “9-5” job that allows me to be home in the evenings and on weekends spending time with my littles. They’re 3 and 1.

I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.

Feel like I was lied to when interviewing at my current agency. I was very honest how important work life balance is to me due to health issues. I was hired by a company that is paying me a ridiculous amount of money to do my job, but they lied to me, they lied to all of the new hires. This isn’t underwriting, this is a call center. We aren’t even allowed to answer coverage questions when the agents call. The call volume is INSANE - like 70+ calls a day. There’s no actual underwriting happening, and I don’t know what to do. The money is great, but the job is a joke. I’ve been here for 2 months and I want out. Advice?
