Looking to exit local (international) fintech company for something with a better org structure and trajectory.
Background: I have worked in the saas implementation and consulting space for the better part of a decade. I moved from hcm software to fintech client mgmt (think credit decisioning.) I like the industry just not my org. We are small and as a result I wear a lot of hats, but end up putting out the same kinds of fires again and again.
Any recommendations or references in the DFW mkt?

Would love to hear how you all go about “training” or “onboarding” new PMs, especially to manage a project type that is new to them (and new to your company in general)? I.e., when there’s no existing process to follow. How much do you expect and/or help the PM to just figure it out?

I am a real estate developer and I just lost about $10 in funding for a project because, after careful examination of the land we were going to use, they found out it’s unfit for construction.

I am a Data Scientist but I am doing Tableau work right now since the Tableau Developer left. They are working on getting a new person. However, I have to work on dashboards for now. My current project's dashboards are more complicated than what I worked on before. Do you think it is worth it to sit for the Tableau Certified Associate exam? Or at least study for it. I have some knowledge gaps even though I already have the Desktop Specialist certificate.
