I accepted a job offer today, but I only started my current role about 7 months ago. I took it purely because it's in the industry I want to be in, and that that I am already close friends (cont.)
Scenario: You leave Big 4 & move across the country. Chose between 2 offers: industry job at huge corporation and step-up role at a small firm. 5 months into your industry job you are miserable (cont)

We’re truly lucky to be hiring right now at a time that is so uncertain. We’re looking for: Senior Designer (graphic design/typography/brand identity/design systems/OOH/print/editorial. 4-5 years)
What sort of exit opportunities are available with just a year of consulting experience? Straight out of undergrad
Any fish with experience moving to an internal, non-consulting role with their firm and have an opinion on making the move now? Would be promotion (which I am unlikely to get in my area of the org due to freezes) but very aware of the old adage “if it’s not billable, it’s killable.” No layoffs yet and no pressure for me to move out of consulting, but this may be an option to level up and maybe have a better exit in 18 months. Thoughts?
Eight Bit Studios in Chicago, is hiring for a product designer with animation chops if anyone knows someone looking! Chill small agency, in-house devs, wide range of projects, and unlimited PTO!
As an interviewer, if someone writes a thank you email, but you know they didnt get the position, do you still respond? I am sure its a nice thing to do, but not sure how to even respond.
Are contract positions feasible in the currently economy? Under what circumstance would you take a contract role? Recruiters keep messaging me on LinkedIn but they’re contract positions and I don’t think it gives any job security whatsoever.
I'm a Senior Associate in Assurance looking to switch into finance. I don't want to be a fund accountant. What position titles should I be searching?I want to go into finance but don't have experience
What do exit opportunities typically look like for a Big 4 consulting Director (recently made the grade)? Is going into industry the main play? Start-ups? MBB? Can one segway, say, into PE as an SME?
After seeing a bunch of the posts on here about some of the exit opportunities people here have posted, I started applying a couple months ago. I just got an offer that's a little under 3x my current comp... And I'm totally speechless. Thank you to everyone here for motivating me to look for that next opportunity!!!

Last May I was volunteered for a stretch role that lasted 10 months, then corona hit so no real downtime after. Now getting volunteered to backfill a SM for an early promo. Like I want it, but I am not sure if I can do 1.5 years in a row of stretch roles without completely burning out :-( I only have been able to take 1 week off over the past year.
What exit opportunities does an assurance director have at a big 4? Considering leaving and was curious as what people have seen directors go into ?
When applying for a new role, how do your companies “level out” the difference in years of working at a competitor vs climbing up the ranks? Are all years of consulting experience seen as “equal”?
Exit ops for public finance? All my corporate friends signed their PE offers 6 months on the job and I'm struggling

Any tips for asking about a job as I reach the end of my internship? It’s coming towards the end of my contract and I wanted to have a chat with my CD to ask if there is the potential of a position at the end of it. Obviously with COVID I am not expecting anything and, if there isn’t, no hard feelings at all. Does anyone have any tips for how to broach the subject?
What is consulting like at SAP(the company)? Supply chain consultant with 2 YOE at big 4. Mostly just curious what the difference is working for SAP directly? Is the pay/benefits any good?
Poll: How many of us actually prefer working from home more permanently? I was reading a survey that found 40-45% of HR pros prefer to continue this way which I found incredibly surprising.
What is the salary range for senior accounting positions in DMV area with McKinsey experience and clearance?
Genuinely asking. Should I hang up on or continue an interview with a CD when they ask me to tell them about my work in my portfolio because they haven’t looked at it at all even after I gave them my portfolio link after they requested for it? They’ve had an entire week to at least skim through. It’s one thing to ask me to tell them about how I approached it etc but to outright admit you didn’t even look at my portfolio? Not trying to be entitled but Idk man
In my career (3 YOE) I’ve always worked in the Financial Services industry but have always had a passion for Life Science and Health Care and want to work in those industries instead. I’ve heard from multiple people at the PPMD level that this is a common situation and many people want to switch between those industries. Is this true? Are there other industries that people like to switch between? Why do you think this is?
Writers: thoughts on the American Medical Writers Association. Do you have their certification? Does it help your resume?
Why don’t you have as many complaints from Kpmg folks on fb? Is the culture better than other big 4??

My friend’s H1b was picked in a lottery and then he got laid off as his (oil) industry took a major hit. What are his options if he wants to save his H1b which was picked up in lottery.
I used to work at West Monroe Partners, it was a great place to work but we were severely under paid. Why cant a management team put the total package together of culture and comp? That would crush.
